Another kit we offer is our diagnostics kit. Yes, you see these kits everywhere. But why buy Solmed’s kit instead? At Solmed, we are realistic, and we aren’t just after a sale, we want you to be the best students you can be. We offer high quality handheld sphygmomanometers and stethoscopes in a variety of colours that you can choose from. Want a pink stethoscope and a purple sphygmomanometer? Sure, why not! It’s your choice. Our pen light has a pupil measurement on them to help you when doing those GCS scores.
We think about the small things too. Things like a retractable FOB watch. Why is that special you ask? Imagine trying to look at a patient’s respiratory rate whilst looking down at your pin-on FOB watch… you’re going to miss a breath! That is why the retractable FOB watches are better for you. Pull it up to your line of vision so you don’t skip a breath. One thing you will hear a lot on the job is “do you have tape?” and “good nurses carry tape!”, you’d be surprised at how often you will need tape! Hence, why we include our 2.5cm hypoallergenic tape, the same ones used in the hospitals. The final item in our kit is the coloured universal scissors. Again, pick what colour you want. These scissors are handy to have because they can cut through almost anything! In a trauma situation and need to cut clothing? These scissors are perfect for the job. One feature you may notice we don’t offer that everyone else does is a nursing pouch. Why don’t we offer them in our kit? Most students don’t know that most workplaces don’t allow nursing pouches as they are an infection control risk, get in the way too much and also give patients ease of access to grab your things, which can be dangerous! Returns Policy
There is a 30 day return on any faulty products. To be eligible you must return items at your cost. We guarantee that any product found to be faulty supplied by us, will be accepted for return and we will refund all costs associated with the returned item. Statutory Warranties and conditions of Sale apply in Australia under consumer law for all products supplied by Australian Companies.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Should any faulty item be a TGA Registered Medical Product or Device, we are required to submit a report to the Registered Manufacturer in accordance with the TGA Legislation. This is a way of ensuring that any device is safely tracked and monitored for safety. We may ask you a few questions and we are required to verify any fault. All standard State & Federal Warranty Conditions apply.

SOLMED only supplies to Australian Addresses.
Solmed dispatches all goods via Australia Post or TNT whichever is deemed suitable. We post to all addresses in Australia including Post Office Boxes. Tracking will be notified on Parcels where applicable. Solmed will advise if any product is not available and offer either a substitute, refund or back order.
