Mepilex Border Flex Lite is designed for the management of a wide range of non- to moderately exuding wounds, such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds, e.g. abrasions, blisters and skin tears. Mepilex Border Flex Lite can also be used as a protection of compromised and/or fragile skin.
Designed to conform and stay on
Thanks to Flex Technology, the unique conformability of Mepilex Border Flex Lite allows it to adapt to the shape and movement of the patient. Reducing pressure on the skin and pull on the borders increases comfort and could reduce the risk of detachment. And it is water-resistant, so your patients can shower. The unique Flex Technology provides 360 degree flexibility due to the Y-cuts that expand to allow movement up to 11x more flexible that other foam dressings.
Smart exudate management:
The unique 4-layer dressing absorbs and channels exudate away from the wound bed and allows you to track exudate progress without disturbing the wound. The unique construction of Mepilex Border Flex Lite provides an optimal balance of exudate absorption and moisture vapour loss, maximising exudate management for or non- to moderately exuding wounds.
Reduced pain and damage
All Mepilex Border Flex dressings seek to reduce trauma caused by dressing changes. This is made possible by Molnlycke's proven Safetac® soft silicone wound contact layer. Safetac is the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion. Designed to mold softly to skin without sticking to the moist wound – so you can remove it easily without damaging the skin. That means less pain for your patients. Safetac also protects new tissue and intact skin – so wounds remain undisturbed, to support faster natural healing. Plus it seals the wound margins to protect skin from damaging leaks and maceration. The combination of less pain and less skin damage to support faster healing can also reduce the cost of treatment.

There is a 30 day return on any faulty products. To be eligible you must return items at your cost. We guarantee that any product found to be faulty supplied by us, will be accepted for return and we will refund all costs associated with the returned item. IMPORTANT NOTE: Should any faulty item be a TGA Registered Medical Product or Device, we are required to submit a report to the Registered Manufacturer in accordance with the TGA Legislation. This is a way of ensuring that any device is safely tracked and monitored for safety. We may ask you a few questions and we are required to verify any fault. Solmed dispatches all goods via Australia Post or TNT whichever is deemed suitable. We post to all addresses in Australia including Post Office Boxes. Tracking will be notified on Parcels where applicable. Solmed will advise if any product is not available and offer either a substitute, refund or back order.
